Nataša Markovska Momčilović, Project Officer | REF Serbia

She has been working on the integration of vulnerable groups such as Roma, migrants, and women for more than 25 years. Her competencies and experience extend to covering all aspects of official development assistance, from interventions’ design and fundraising, implementation and monitoring, to capacity building and policy dialogue. She directly facilitated the establishment and development of pioneering municipal Roma coordinators’ networks and Roma CSOs, and fostered policy dialogue with relevant national government bodies and municipality officials responsible for implementing the Action Plan for the inclusion of Roma. Before joining the Roma Education Fund, she worked for the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization in Serbia, the European Centre for Minority Issues in Flensburg, and Open Society Foundations. Most recently, Natasa has been engaged in grant making and implementation support for national implementation partners across the EU accession countries in the area of secondary tertiary education and employment of young Roma. Natasa holds a degree in philosophy. She has been engaged in continuous professional development related to all aspects of her work. She is a keen ODA practitioner with a special focus on grant making, networking and partnerships, policy dialogue, and RBM and MEAL (results based management, as well as monitoring, evaluation, and learning).
