KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Communication & Content Creation
- Develop and disseminate engaging content such as success stories, reports, factsheets, blogs, and newsletters.
- Support project teams in identifying and implementing effective communication strategies.
- Produce multimedia materials (print, digital, audio-visual) tailored to diverse audiences.
2. Media & Public Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists.
- Coordinate press coverage and increase visibility of key issues in national and regional media.
- Draft press releases and monitor media coverage.
3. Digital & Social Media Management
- Manage and update the organization’s website and social media channels.
- Create and schedule content, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
4. Branding & Visibility
- Ensure consistent application of branding guidelines across all communication materials.
- Design and produce promotional materials including brochures, reports, videos, and infographics.
- Archive and manage digital communication assets.
5. Internal & External Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the international team members as part of the Communication Department to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate with project managers, communication staff, and partner organizations to support project visibility and outreach.
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including government institutions, civil society organizations, and media representatives, to amplify the organization’s mission and impact.
6. Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track media coverage and prepare regular press clippings and visibility reports.
- Evaluate communication efforts and suggest improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- BA or MA in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in communications, media, or public relations.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English and Serbian.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and trends.
- Experience working with Roma communities or civil society organizations is an asset.
- Previous experience in an international or multicultural environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of Romani or another regional language is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Sensitivity to diversity and commitment to gender equality.
